My story…
HOW WE STARTED THE CORNERSTONE BAKERY
Hi there! My name is Dewey. I’m a Colorado native, a proud wife and mother. Like so many of us, I believe that success means more than just a paycheck.
There was a time in my life when I was working 60 hours a week, earning a six-figure income, and checking all the “success” boxes. Like the story goes life was a mess. I was unhappy, exhausted, and craving something more meaningful so I made one of the scariest and most life-changing decisions of my life: I walked away.
After leaving my longtime career, I started my journey to healing and happiness. Along the way, I married my wonderful husband and rediscovered something that had always brought me joy — baking.
There’s something special about making people happy through food: the comfort of a homemade treat, a gifted box of cookies, or the way desserts bring people together. That feeling, along with my hubby’s support, is what inspired me to start my very own micro bakery.
This business is built on faith, courage (lots of it), and the belief that it’s never too late to choose fulfillment. Thank you so much for being here and supporting this dream. I truly hope you enjoy every goodie you find on my website.

All of my baked goods are crafted with time, thought, and care. Every recipe is made the way I would make it for my own family — with quality ingredients and a whole lot of love. There has been so much invested time, trial and error into making my homemade treats what they are today.
You’ll also notice that we offer fresh duck eggs! With the support of my amazing family, we’ve created a cozy little backyard farm that brings so much joy to our home. We have a small garden that’s just right for our family, along with a flock of ducks.
Our ducks are hand-raised and lovingly cared for. They roam freely on our property, foraging for food, enjoying plenty of sunshine, fresh air, and space to explore. Their happiness and well-being are incredibly important to us, and we’re proud to share the goodness they provide with our community.
